Another Day...

Well I didn't do too hot on my eating today. I did better than I normally would have, but not as good I should of. On a positive note, Kaden and I walked two miles today. He even walked the whole way himself. We came home with some new treasures, a rock and some spikey balls that come off trees. He wants to put peanut butter and birdseed on the balls and feed the birds.

I go back to work tomorrow night, so it is going to be a challenge to get my exercise in. I don't wake up well, and usually wait till the last second to get out of bed, so working out before work is probably out. I am fine when I get off work, until I take my scrubs off, then I am finished. For some stupid reason, I dread changing clothes. I wish I could stand to work out in my scrubs, but after 13 hours in them, I am done with them. So I guess I am making excuses on why not to exercise on my work days. I am thinking about taking some little weights to the hospital with me and in my downtime lifting weights a little. This week will be a good test run on how I will manage exercise and work. I so wish I had a set schedule of working hours and days.

I guess the house contract has officially fallen through. We bickered back and forth and they did not counter back this last time, so I guess the gig is up. I know God has a reason for this, I just wish he would let me in on it.

Well, off to bed I go. Exercise and cooking for the week tomorrow, then work tomorrow night.

  1. Hey Abby, just thought I would add some words of encouragement for you today. I know that you can do good while at work, they say that even doing 10 minutes of exercise three times a day is beneficial, so maybe if you have some down time you can do something at work. Just stay out of the cafeteria, I am sure that is easier said than done though. Keep blogging and working hard, we have a beach waiting for us and calling our names!

  2. Great job on the two mile walk. I so wish this nice weather would stay around it makes working out so much easier. I think the weights are a great idea at work. I wonder how ankle weights would be since you walk so much at work? Sorry to hear about the contract. Are you planning on cooking you meals and freezing for the week ahead? I have heard a lot of gals on the blog doing that and I just wondered how the meals would taste.
